create beautiful ringtones and put them in your iPhone. To create a ringtone for iPhone you will need two types of programs:
an audio editor like Audacity or mp3DirectCut , they are both free, and a converter as SUPER or iPod Converter .
Method
Make sure that MP3 files are not too long (20 to 30 seconds) and the loop (Sample) is correct on time. If you can correct it with the audio editor.
You can insert silence at the end so that the ring is "alternating" (sound ... pause, etc.).
Once the songs are ready, convert them to MP4 format ( AAC ).
Rather choose a frequency and a high enough bitrate ► 44'100 / 32 kbp so the sound is of good quality.
However, remember that the speakers of the iPhone is not in High Fidelity (HF).
Finally, change the extension from MP4 to M4R and you're done!
Note: Even if recorded in stereo and although the iPhone has two speakers, the ringtones will be played in mono.
