When you buy a PC, most of the buyers pays attention only to the type of memory, perhaps even that of the RAM, the operating system on your PC, but often not considered rather what version of the system is installed, that is, if the 32 or 64-bit.
This kind of doubt it touches almost never users who are often unaware of what type of Windows is installed. The question arises, however, when asked one of the two versions to install a program or game.
So how do you know if your PC is 32 or 64 bit?
Just open the System Properties window which shows the type of system.
Press the Windows Logo + Break to open the System Properties window, where you can read the type of Windows system.
Method2: From the control panel Windows XP Click Start to access the Control Panel and then go to System .In the window you can clearly read 64bit
On Windows XP, the default type is 32bit and the system is only displayed if it is 64bit
Windows Vista / 7 Just clickStart, then Control Panel, System and Security and then click System. In the window you can see clearly the type of system, whether 32-bit or 64-bit
Windows 8 Right-click in the lower left of the screen, then click System menu. In the System window you can read clearly the type of system, whether 32-bit or 64-bit.
